Making A Purchase
Please browse our Catalogue and click on any items that you wish to buy to place them into your shopping cart. After you have made All your selections, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to supply the order.

We accept payments made by most Credit and Debit Cards. Alternatively you can send a cheque with your order to address shown above.

If you wish to pay by cheque, please proceed to the Checkout to place your order and select Invoice and Payment before delivery from the drop down menu. This will put your order into our system, we will then send an Invoice for you to pay before we despatch the goods.

Please be aware that should we have made an error in our pricing of a product and we notice it, we will advise you of the correct price and obtain your confirmation that you still require the product at the correct price.


Shipping And Handling

Orders for delivery to any UK Mainland Address with a total invoice value of less than £75 are subject to our standard carriage charge of £5.99 inc VAT

Orders for Scottish Isles, Scilly Isles. Norther Ireland, Isle of Wight and all other offshore UK addresses will incur a carriage charge of £14.99 inc VAT, unless order value is in excess of £150.00 or item is light enough to be posted by Royal Mail. Please contact us to discuss carriage charges if you live in one of these locations.

We can supply to European countries but please contact us to arrange shipping costs.

Delivery Schedule
Items which we hold in stock are normally despatched within 24 hrs for delivery to you. Larger more expensive items, and special order items may take longer. We aim to achieve order completion within 3 -5 days for 95% of all orders that we receive. Please contact our Technical Support and Sales Helpline on 01206 572152 to check stock availability and expected delivery times and schedules.

Back Orders
If an Item is out of stock and unlikely to be available within an acceptable preiod of time we will contact you so that you may amend or cancel your order with us. We will not send out Part orders without your agreement.

Tax Charges
VAT has been included in the prices shown for all items on our website at the current rate applicable. The price you see is the price you pay excluding carriage charges if applicable.

Credit Card Security
Our online credit card transactions are processed using a 128bit encrypted connection, which makes it impossible for any third party to intercept your details, when entering any details such as Name and Address you can check if your connection is secure by looking for the PADLOCK at the bottom right of your screen, or alongside the address bar if using Explorer 7.

Guarantee All products supplied by Town & Country Lighting carry a full 12 Month Manufacturer's Guarantee. If any product is found to be faulty at installation we will arrange for a replacement to be provided. Guarantee does not apply to Lamps and Tubes supplied FOC with the product.

Returns Policy
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found
here.

Town & Country Lighting Ltd have a 7-day no quibble returns policy for all products as required under the Distance Selling Regulations of 2000.

The following conditions apply to all returns of this type:-

You must inform us in writing within 7 Days of receipt of your order that you wish to return them.
The date of delivery will be as recorded by our carriers.
Goods must be returned in their original packaging, complete with all other associated components..
Goods should not have been installed, modified or used in any way and should be in an undamaged condition.

The cost of returning the goods and insuring them against loss or damage will be deducted from your refund currently this charge would not exceed £12.00. Alternatively you may arrange to return them at your own expense in which case no deductions will be made. Your refund will be made within 28 days of return of the goods

Claims for damaged or missing goods must be notified within 3 working days of delivery. Claims made after this period will not be accepted.
